Description: This project explains the idea of optimization in the textile industry for the detection of faults occurring in fabrics. The use of image processing is done to detect and locate the defective areas in the texture image of the fabric. Singular value decomposition (SVD) is also utilized in order to efficiently locate the defected part while also reducing the dimensionality of the image thereby making the process easy to deal with. The related codes of the procedure are given in the appendix section.
